About Us

We turn cross-border care into a clear route, first.

MedCareInChina is not a hospital, not a doctor, and not an insurance company. We are the coordinator who turns scattered records, complex hospital systems, and opaque insurance pathways into something you can read, decide, and act on.

See the route first, prepare records second; confirm scope and fees before any remote consultation or in-China arrangement begins.

MedCareInChina coordination overview

Trust framework

Trust comes from four things

Clear boundaries

Real experience

Lived through a major family medical decision.

China systems

Public, private, insurance and accompaniment.

Routing skill

From scattered files to a readable case brief.

Service limits

Medicine stays with the doctor; we coordinate.

Why us

We focus on the medical decision itself.

Why we do this

Our founder Tim's family faced a major medical decision at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital. That experience taught us that patients don't need more web pages -- they need someone to clarify who to see, which department, what to prepare, and what comes next.

Why we are not a typical broker

Cross-border care is not just hospital introductions. It involves records, expert review, insurance, visas, language, admission and discharge. Any unclear link costs the patient time, money, and emotional energy.

Why the free scan comes first

Not every question requires a consultation, and not every situation suits travel. The free scan exists so you see whether China is worth pursuing -- before committing records, fees, or a trip.

Real experience

Our founder personally lived through a major family medical decision and understands the pressure patients feel when facing uncertainty.

China systems

A working understanding of public tertiary hospitals, international clinics, private hospitals, insurance and patient accompaniment.

Routing skill

We turn scattered files into a case a Chinese doctor can read, and complex choices into a clear next action.

Service limits

Medical judgment is made by physicians; hospital scheduling, insurance results and final costs must each be confirmed item by item.

Coordination across China hospital systems
Working principles

How we build trust in medical service.

Serious illness and cross-border decisions require records, expert opinion, hospital routes, insurance, and cost boundaries to be confirmed one by one.

01

Route before hospital

First we look at condition, records, insurance, budget range and travel ability -- then we judge which city, which type of hospital, and which expert format fits.

02

Records before judgment

Reports, imaging, pathology, medications and a clear question list must be organized first. Only then can a specialist offer a meaningful opinion.

03

Quote before start

Service fees, expert fees, translation/preparation work, and medical cost ranges are listed separately and confirmed in writing before work begins.

04

Boundaries before action

Diagnosis, treatment plans, insurance results and final costs must be confirmed by physicians, hospitals and insurers -- not promised by us.

National routing

Remote consultations match experts nationwide.

Expert review is not bound by city. When you decide to travel, the right city is chosen based on disease, hospital capability, insurance, language service, and travel conditions.

Top specialty experts nationwide

For complex oncology, hematology, neurology, cardiovascular, surgical or rare-disease cases, we can match specialists across different cities by disease type.

Experts, departments, and cities are confirmed case by case.

International insurance & private hospitals

For patients who value English service, privacy, direct billing, examination efficiency and a stable experience, we evaluate private hospital routes across cities.

Insurance, cost ranges, and available services are confirmed case by case.

In-China ground execution

Once a city is chosen, we coordinate appointments, airport pickup, interpretation, accompaniment, examinations, admission, insurance documents, and discharge paperwork.

Service scope and fees are confirmed in writing before work begins.

How we work

From the first email to landing in China -- this is how we move.

Stable cross-border care needs standardized intake, structured cases, partner SOPs, and clearly stated service boundaries.
