One Chinese specialist's written opinion on your full medical file.
Best suited for cases that already have a diagnosis, a focused clinical question, and a single specialty in play. We organize your records into a Chinese case brief, match a single specialist, and deliver a written opinion within 3-5 business days of consultation.
Most cases start with a free pathway scan. Paid consultation only after written quote.
Who Single Expert is built for.
The deciding factor isn't severity -- it's how focused the question is.
You have a diagnosis -- but doubts about the plan.
Your local team has named the condition and proposed a course of treatment. You want a Chinese specialist to confirm -- or challenge -- that path on a single, focused clinical question.
The specialty is already clear.
You know this is a cardiology, neurology, GI, orthopedic, endocrine -- or any single-discipline -- question. There is no need for cross-specialty consensus.
You need a second or third opinion.
The goal is to validate or pressure-test an existing plan -- not to brainstorm an entirely new treatment direction from scratch.
You want a lower-cost entry to expert input.
Compared with MDT's multi-physician panel, Single Expert is the lighter on-ramp. If the single specialist concludes you need multi-disciplinary review, you can upgrade to MDT later.
Not sure which one fits? Your case manager will advise before any written quote is issued.
What you receive.

Single Expert · $800 USD, all-in.
One flat fee. Not billed by the hour, not adjusted by case complexity, no hidden add-ons.
What's Included
- Medical record organization and Chinese case brief preparation
- Translation coordination
- Specialist matching
- Video consultation or written file review
- Expert opinion synthesis + bilingual (EN/CN) PDF report
This $800 is the total fee for Single Expert. We do not add charges mid-process, do not mark up for "specialist seniority" or "case complexity," and will not come back after you sign saying "translation took longer than expected, that's $200 more." The quote is the final price.
Not included in the $800
In-China hospital costs after arrival -- examinations, surgery, hospitalization, medication, consumables -- are billed directly by the hospital based on actual care, and are separate from Single Expert. If you don't travel to China and only complete the remote consultation, the $800 is your only fee.

"I had already completed first-line treatment for breast cancer in Dubai. After recurrence, my local oncologist proposed a second-line regimen. I wanted to know what a Chinese specialist would see in the same file."
Over five business days we organized her pathology, imaging, chemotherapy records, and medication history from two Dubai hospitals into a Chinese case brief.
We matched a breast oncology specialist at a top-tier mainland hospital for a single-expert read. The written opinion noted that, for her specific subtype, the proposed regimen might not be the optimal choice, and recommended adding a particular genomic test before deciding.
She brought the report back to her Dubai oncologist for discussion. She ultimately continued treatment in Dubai -- with an adjusted medication regimen.
Boundary note: final treatment decisions are made jointly by the patient and her treating physician. The Single Expert deliverable is a professional opinion based on written records and does not replace in-person evaluation.

Most asked before signing.
How much does Single Expert cost? +
$800 USD, all-inclusive. That covers records organization, translation coordination, specialist matching, the video consultation (or written file review), and the final PDF report.
The price does not scale with hours billed or case complexity -- the quote is the final price. Hospital fees in China, if you later choose to travel, are separate and not included in this $800.
How do you decide which specialist to match? +
Matching is based on your disease subtype, treatment stage, and the focal clinical question -- not on a generic specialty label. We look at which physician most frequently sees this exact question in clinic.
We confirm the matched specialist's name, hospital, and seniority with you in writing before any fee engages.
Can I request a specific specialist or hospital? +
Yes -- you can name a preferred specialist or hospital, and we will assess feasibility and respond with whether the request can be honored within Single Expert's framework and timeline.
If your preferred specialist is unavailable, we will propose alternates of comparable seniority for your decision before proceeding.
Do I need to attend the video consultation? +
No. Attendance is optional. We provide live medical interpretation if you choose to join, or we conduct the consult on your behalf and deliver the written report afterward.
Some patients prefer to read the report first and only meet the specialist if a follow-up question arises.
Can I forward the report to my doctor at home? +
Yes. The report is designed to be shareable with your treating team. We can also prepare a short English executive summary if your home physician prefers that format.
If I'm not satisfied with the single opinion, can I upgrade to MDT? +
Yes -- but MDT is a separately priced service at $1,000 USD per specialist (typically 3 specialists = $3,000), not a discounted "top-up" on Single Expert. The $800 already delivered under Single Expert -- case brief, translation, the single opinion -- cannot be credited toward the MDT fee.
If you suspect upfront that your case needs multidisciplinary judgment (for example, a cancer case spanning surgery, oncology and radiotherapy), going directly to MDT is usually the more economical path.
Will the report contain specific medical recommendations? +
The report contains the specialist's professional opinion based on the written file: possible treatment directions, suggested additional tests, and items requiring in-person confirmation. It is an opinion, not a diagnosis or prescription.
Final diagnostic and treatment decisions remain with hospitals and your treating physician.
What comes next depends on where you are.
